Bulk Tanker Driver in Georgia, pay is good, 12 to 14 hours every day. Until you have been there at least 5 years be ready to work a bad schedule which will be nights and weekends. A lot of the drivers have egos that is out of this world, management is very weak and poor. Airgas is anal about safety, but most of their tractors are worn out they run them 24/7. Airgas management makes the rules as they go to benefit them selves, logistics is in Cleveland which is very poor. If you can put up with all this and want to work plan on 60,000 to 68,000 per year.
Anyone know about Airgas?

I worked at airgas mid south for about 7mos of 2011 they gave me 2 days to start (quit my six year job and lost my severance package) worked me to the frazzled end everyday. It is a decent job but management is lacking they screw up dispatch all day long.the big problem is they count log mistakes the same as a vehicle driving incident. True story!!! I had two log mistakes in august and scraped a two foot yellow pole in the yard and they terminated me! I had no preventables for more than five years before this. They will not stand behind you for nothing.you would be better off handing your daily log to a DOT officer every day. they do pay good but start whining on the overtime. with what im telling you about my experience with them I would still say go for it.just keep your paperwork legal and don't let management pound you in the ground,or they will!!

I saw a Roehl tractor pulling a gas trailer making a delivery in St.Louis a few months ago. I'm pretty it was Airgas . If so the big pay is over . It'll be a dedicated Roehl account .
