I don't know if it means anything to you but I only haul about 3 or 4 loads a month and only run about 7 months out of a year and an average month for me is about 14 grand on somewhere around 6000 miles. Remember haul what you want if it does not suit you pass on it. I unloaded in New Hampshire last Wednesday there were 4 loads sitting there where I unloaded 2 of them paid 3.98 a mile gross I did not feell like hauling them so I came home and most likely I will not load anything until after the 1st of the year.As you can see I am not a top producer but I have talked to some of our guys that claim they make over 200 grand a year.

Danny I did not want a new trailer I got the trailer I needed 51 foot with full ramps and container locks and a wood floor .I am sorry you had a bad deal but how is it Packards fault the riggers messed you up?. They don't want whiners anyway go get your own direct freight and by the way they only broker what the leased trucks wont haul and you were dealing with Packard logistics not Packard transport. We have around 180 leased trucks and they all seem to be happy and would not go away unless they were fired

Hey, guy asked, I told him. You're happy with your 3-4 trips a month, 6000 miles at a bit over $2/mile. Good for you.

Was leased to Packard for a long time, When Rex really ran the place it wasn't bad, then they brought Joe in the VP (KIN) and his son and the place started falling down. Everyone for the most part in the office is related to one another somehow. It makes for a bad deal when you have a problem everything goes through that office whether it ment to or not. They use to pay within 48 hours of settlement papers received. Most of the agents are BS they are agents for 2 or more companies and whoever they like more that's who gets the freight. (ie if I put it on Admiral I make 10% verses Packards 8%). A lot of one-way trips we can get you out but not back.
