I'm seriously considering it. I dont really need the money (I mean I do and so does everyone else but I'm not pay check to paycheck by any means and 80k would be fine for me) I'll put some apps in and see what happens. Before i used to tolerate going to work but I'm quickly getting to that dangerous place in my head where I'm starting to dread it

I would do it. Think about the stress you will be saving on your body as well.

I’m right there with you. I’m grossing $2k a week now. We are moving to a different state with a lower cost of living so I won’t get that. I’m striving for 80k if possible. Plus, I don’t want to pay 1k a month for insurance. I’m currently not paying anything for coverage-I keep telling my wife that this is not the norm in trucking and be prepared for a pay cut and drastic change in lifestyle. You should look into Estes. I’m considering them bc it’s seems like they have the miles to run as an OTR regional driver. Home weekends. I’ve got little ones and I don’t want to be gone but we’ve gotta support them. Plus, its motels not a sleeper berth.

Ya estes and saia are two places I'm gonna apply. I have my doubles/triples and experience hauling sets as well as all my other endorsements so hopefully it can get me in the door

I run linehaul for an ltl company and I make over $2,000 a week. It's not hard to do at my barn. Most of our scheduled runs are between $90,000/$115,000 a year. Running the extra board I never made less than $93,000 and that's being home every night.

2K a week is enough for me to put you with politics and other nonsense....they would be paying me to ignore it

Do you mind sharing which one you work for? I'm hauling cars now and do really well but it's putting a hurting on me physically. I've been looking at Estes.
