To some degree I believe everyone does.
It's more about self respect though. If you think parking straight and centered is the courteous and professional way to park you likely will.
If you don't care about that and think getting in and setting the brake as fast as possible makes you more productive then that's what you'll do.mjfreespirit and Blackshack46 Thank this. -
Generally, I'm usually parking between 2 trucks. I do what I can within reason to be centered between the 2 trucks. Unless one is really out of whack.

While you guys are busy playing truckstop Tetris I'll be parking so my hood doesn't get torn off or my fuel doesn't get siphoned out while I sleep and so I don't get blocked in by some late night creative parker.

If you do all that, someone will see, and be on here in a week #####ing about you driving your truck the way you drive your truck.
I guarantee it Sawmill! -
I hate that with a passion.

Seeing that just screams "half ***ed company", IMO.Blackshack46 Thanks this. -
You're probably right. I parked this evening in a end row spot...protected by a curb, but my truck is so long it stuck out way past the end of the raised curb, prime target for hood removal....so I moved....between two fleet trucks...they have no incentive to steal my fuel. So I guess I'm OCD too about parking but in a different way. Honestly the only place I'm truly picky about parking is in my own yard. I share the space with a friend and I prefer the bull wagons and tankers off to one side, but that's only so I can see the back door of the shop from the kitchen window...it's much easier to see over the flats and steps.Blackshack46 Thanks this.
