when i was pulling tanks i would ask the people loading the stuff how to handle it... if it was placarded I ALWAYS WORE MY PPE AND CHECKED AND RECHECKED THE HOOK UP AND FITTINGS>>> AND MADE SURE I KNEW WHERE WATER SHOWER WAS LOCATED... if one wasn't close i had a 5 gal bucket i filled from a spicket before starting... and be sure you know where the emergency shut offs are on the trailer (you know the brass fittings that you break off to close the internal valve ) .. one other thing i did was leave the drivers door ajar so it would open quickly to reach the key to kill the motor before i got to the designated assembely area... i guess what i'm trying to convay here is YOUR SATEY IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY... one other thing don't be afraid to talk to other drivers in your company that have been there awhile... there are no dumb questions when it comes to your saftey or those around you.... nuf said i'll put the soap box up now
Anyone pull this stuff?
