I just did all of mine..
I would never do this myself..I got 4 estimates and gave the job to a spring guy...With all the hardware, busings, alignment and some other shims and other work,it was 1,500...
You have to take the springs right off the truck and have the right tools to get them bushings out and you need to put them back in PERFECT or you will be replacing them in 6 months...There is some science to it..
I am happy i paid the 1,500..My ride is tight and runs strait down the road...Heavyd Thanks this. -
I agree with Landstar8891, pay someone to have it done. I replaced both leafs under the steer, new u-bolts, shims, and alignment was only $1350. Parts alone were $1000, not bad and I didn't have to deal with it.
