Add says 3.36 but doesn’t specify low or
11r 22.5s, I don’t think I’ll be putting a wet kit on this one so 11r and 3.36 should be able to get the job done, I’ve got 3.55 now and I’m usually either to low in of rpm in 8over or too high in 8 direct at 65.
id be happy with 80 when I head west, which I’m probably going to have to do more often now if I have a payment, but I have to get back to work, don’t have 6-8 months to strip another truck down and rebuild it, I’ll probably buy the w9 back and rebuild it as time/money allows if they do total it out
Anyone rolling in a 589 yet?

Lead time is about 4-6 weeks to order one according to the salesman I deal with. The dash shouldn’t be an issue as long as you make sure the software is current. If the dash does blank out just keep driving until you can’t. Don’t shut the truck off.

Also Dickerson has a few that are dressed up and ready to go for $255k. Flattops. Long WB. Dummy pipes. Visor. Fenders.

I like the ones Dickerson is doing, especially the small old style steps.

Visors and half fenders are easy enough to do, don’t need the dummy pipes or the big wheel base, current truck is a 282” and I’m fine with something around that area
these definitely look better in flat top, but im also getting old so functionality over looks is starting to play a roll as well extra 25k to a trailer or I’ll probably be breaking down and adding an apu on if I do end up going new, I’ve ran old for quite a while, might be time to start slightly adapting….

There’s a Pete dealer about 30 minutes from me that I shuttle trucks for it I’m not busy with my own truck.
They have flown me far as Denton, Texas to get a brand new 589 with coal specs.
That roller wheel you speak of is little demon at times, hit it without knowing and the dash changes. I had to call a buddy and ask what the hell was going on the first time it happened.
Took the Jeep to a car show today, ran into a good friend at the show who shuttles trucks for them as well as a 2nd job, I just helped with the overflow when they were real busy. I ask him how things were going at the dealership and he told me very slow, said truck sales were down nearly 50% from earlier in the summer….Last edited: Oct 13, 2024

Getting my recipts together today for the adjuster tomorrow, $18000 for the truck and just over 106k into her almost 5 years to the date, other than the 7 weeks I missed last year from my first accident I had 2 unscheduled weeks off for breakdowns in that time, some of the smaller repairs and
My time are not included in that, sounds like a lot but I’ve driven that 27 year old truck ocean to ocean without issue (yet, just Incase they decide to fix it) -
I’ve kind of been wondering if old school drivers would be into them or not. Personally I think they look kind of goofy. That big Gumby windshield just doesn’t fit well with the hood. Figuring that they’ll end up not very popular like the KW-990.
Time will tell I guess but for now I definitely don’t want one.. Probably try looking for a new 389 leftover. Can’t remember where but I saw a bunch still sitting at a dealership. -
