I have one of them sitting in my shed that nobody wants to buy. Maybe I'll try it. That's what I was wanting to do was keep the air from smacking the front trailer axle.Guntoter Thanks this.

I couldn't agree more. I cringe as well!FLATBED Thanks this.

What would you do with your slide winches????
-
I think with a flatbed you might do just as well if you put a skirt on the driver instead of the trailer

Fisher Guy- leave us Scots outta this!
Side skirts have been great for me, in my experience they work well in cross winds providing a little more stability cause the wind cant get under and lift. In a headwind they make the biggest difference. The ones that just go in front of the tandems are not very effective imo. But the full side skirts are worth it for the small investment. -
Next some yuppie will want to put skirts on RGN's and Double drops, The aerodynamics on a flatbed and the odd loads that are hauled make no sense..
If one hauled the same thing all the time or a covered wagon it would make sense, look like crap but it makes sense....
I just think we should all refuse to pull any load without a FSC equal to the pump price, figured at a rate of 5.0mpg for the miles run.. then they could shove all this aero crap right in their engineering arse's. -
I didn't know you were back to flatbed'n.

Lol, ain't that the truth.
