Anyone starting Jan 7?

I'm also starting on January 7th. I got my permit yesterday and am almost ready to roll. I leave out at 9:45 Sunday night on a greyhound and I'm scheduled to get there at 5:50am Monday morning. If anyone wants to meet up Monday, Ill be more than happy to. Always nice to talk with people getting ready to go through the same thing as you.

 

Sounds like you have quite the journey to even get to Springfield. Good luck to ya. It's supposed to be bitter cold Sunday night and Monday but doesn't look like any precipitation in my route to Springfield. I'm hoping to be able to sleep for maybe half of my trip. I'm also hoping to get ahead on paper work Monday so Tuesday won't be such a crazy day. Anyone got any tips for things to do on Monday before orientation on Tuesday?

 

Do the packet and get the Simulator done.

 

Well I'm getting a little bit worried. I got everything that my recruiter said I needed (permit, birth certificate, etc.) He said that everything looked great and to pack my bags, that he would call me Monday. Well, it's Friday now and no call. I left a couple of messages with him since Monday, but I don't know what to think about it. I'm hoping he's just really busy, but it doesn't look like I'll have everything set up for Jan. 7.

 

Email him... It's a pain trying to get recruiters on the phone.

 

I don't have his email address. Could I get that by calling the main line at Prime?

I'm not sure if I'm going to start this week, or maybe I'll delay for a week. I picked a great week to get sick.
