Anyone still running 24.5" wheels?

    It's like buying a really big ice cream cone. To one person it's a whole lotta ice cream, to another it's a double scoop.

    And if a 13 doesn't have 2 overdrives, it doesn't have 4 more gears than a 9 either because all those extra gears are splits too.

    24lp 3.55 gear fro16210b. 70 mph at 1525/1550. I prefer the look of a 24 wheel with 2.5 holes an a low pro tire. I would like to swap to a 3.42 rear gear to help drop rpms for higher speeds. If I was to spec a truck I would run a lp 24 with 342 an a 13speed. Most of today's trans have a .73/.74 final gear so 10/13/18 wouldn't really make a difference other than pulling, but final hole be about the same. If you want to run 80-90mph I would run 24 tall with 336 but gonna need power to cruise in the big hole under 70.

    379 is correct about the RTOO.

    Also the 13 and 18 were that same before and after the "super" was branded. The "super"had nothing to do with the gear set inside, or the ability to preselect.
