well i have what is called a "pre-paid" account.

unlimited data, texting, calls, etc, for $35 each month, plus taxes, fee's, so about $38.00 monthly.

i have no use for any contract(s), or high dollar phones, gizmo's, doo-dads.....

"hello, you want milk and eggs"?

    "ok"

"what, what do you mean you'll be 6 hours till you get hear, i have to get this tire changed, so i can get home and take my nap"....

thats all i need a phone for......

It's so cute when a driver calls going back to a flip style cell phone as "going back in time."

I remember when using a cordless home phone when they first came out and you had to extend the antenna before answering the call like R2D2 and the range was about 50 feet from the base.

My Dad still has a flip phone and one of my drivers does as well.

I don’t have any social media either and have an iPhone 10. I just ignore all of the updates. I’m going to have to get a 13 soon though.

Good to hear someone is making a flip with 4g.

I miss flip phones a lot. I miss the times before cell phones and home PC's much more. Until around 2005, all cell phones were analog signal instead of digital like today. The calls back then were clear and rarely had a call drop. Today you get dropped calls like crazy when you actually have a clear enough signal to speak with somebody.

As for flip phones............I have been using flip phones for years.
I have "rabbit ears" TV.......I do pay for cable internet for my home computer. Here we
can still buy "internet only" cable...................saves quite a bit. I tried a smart phone but
I hated it...................battery had to be charged pretty much daily. The screen is to small............
my home computer internet is real coverage with a real screen and a real keyboard for less
    than the smart phone cost.

I tried a tablet but it wasn't much better. Screen was still pretty small......keyboard was
better but still to small.............to expensive for not better than it was.
