Anyone still using a flip phone?

    Not a bad idea but two separate phones are better for privacy concerns. Most of these tracking apps pushed by brokers require access to a phone. If a driver only has a single phone for both business and personal he ends up being what's tracked when he leaves the truck.

    Thanks. It's the best way I've found so far. I can even install whatever tracking app a broker wants (if they pay the $150 tracking fee) on the tablet and when I'm away from the truck I just untether from the tablet and take the flip.

    LG is out of the smartphone business, and I don't know about the flip they make. My Kyocera is retired now, too many places I go no longer support CDMA. The other phone got used then.

    Replaced with a Note 20 5g.

    The older Android is my ELD readout, and spare phone otherwise. Also a Samsung.

    Need to check settings if it isn't working right, and disable CDMA if that is in the settings.

    I like the Note.
