A poor excuse for a business, lies upon lies, no checking on facts, no responsibility for false statements this site carrier 411 is a waste of time and money by anyone foolish enough to subscribe. The information they provide is not verified or able to be changed or challenged if in dispute. Further when questioned they will lie about the source of their information, all in all a very frustrating business. I could ramble on but I think the point is made.

It is clear that people posting here have never used this service. It is one of the most valuable tools a broker or shipper can use in determining the safety fitness of carrier AND be able to prove due diligence in a court of law.
Checking the FMCSA website (that takes much longer) will not give you due diligence reports that can be used during a law suit.
In terms of bad data about a carrier - first a single bad report is like a single bad inspection. They have little impact. Second, I have had two agents for the same broker try and post false information. I responded with my facts and nothing appeared. Key is to respond in time given and this can be an issue for independent O/O's that may never open that piece of mail because it looks like all the other marketing material. -
If you're a broker and respond to an accusation the response is noted at the very bottom of the page. It is not removed(unless you are a member) As far as due diligence for a carrier any decent dispatch system will auto up-date daily from the FMCSA site and most loadboards and keep a running record of any carrier you use. that shows a progression of good/ bad scores.

Carrier411 is NO GOOD, waste of money, waste of time. 2 guys in their office trying to be someone their not.very hard to talk to,I tried getting a free 30 day trailer they keep asking me same questions over and over ,and would act like im lieing to them for who knows what reason??VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. They need to get them selves straight and not harassing customer who try using their service, even though their service is worth less. you can find companies info and moniter them on your own at following website and its FREE:

truckstop.com has Loads rating and reports on all companys. Truckstop.com is a professional company.unlike carrier411 or whatever.Medz Thanks this. -
Carrier 411 is a rip off. I pay $99 a month because some stup*d broker had a bad day and felt like reporting a carrier to this fake website. In order to respond i had to sign up. Du*b ### in costumer service is rude and has no IDEA what trucking is about. Interesting part is that brokers actually use it and once in a while somebody asks me WHY report happened. In my opinion this site is Legal Racketeering.
