Thanks for the info. It's nice to see info from someone who is actually doing this. I am gonna be doing this very soon. I wanted to give it a test run but I had a few questions I wanted to ask someone with experience before I got rolling.

    1. If you're on a 1099, what's a good and safe percentage to deduct from the lump sum you get so you don't get in trouble come tax time? It seems to me as long as you're disciplined with taking out your taxes right off the bat and keeping it in a separate account, you shouldn't have problems.

    2. Do you actually return the truck/trailer you used to the point of origin every time, or do they sometimes have you drop the truck/trailer at another yard/terminal? I'm asking because a return trip would need to be planned in advance to avoid getting stranded.

    3. Just from your experience, what are good questions that I need to ask from the carrier or blue bloodhound that I might not think of right away but would screw me 500 miles down the road? This is mostly an experience based question. I'm just looking for whatever you've learned that you could tell me so I don't shoot myself in the foot being stupid. lolol Any information you have would be greatly appreciated. If you want, email me at [email protected]
If you wanna use fb messenger, that's the email I use for FB. I'm really just looking for info. I'll appreciate whatever you have.

    Barrett,

Take this as helping hand. I would seriously consider getting legal/tax help as to your questions and not ask the company as they have no obligation to you. (Please see their limited liability and no warranty clause.) There are many tells in your post that you are in need of some serious assistance. I would further suggest you look at the many posts in this thread as well for additional guidance and warnings. I fear this will come back to haunt you down the road unless you educate yourself and or seek assistance.
