Anyone wear a hard hat while loading/unloading

    If you're ever near Cottrell, they've given all of our drivers a nice ball cap that has a removable plastic shell. Hard enough to protect you from the minor bumps and looks like a normal baseball cap. I'm sure they sell them, but all of our drivers were able to talk them into a few for free. I think they're called bump caps.

    Bump caps were pretty common with the unionized carriers. I'm pretty sure Allied made them policy for awhile in some locations.

    Now a lot of the rail heads up hear require steel toes, safety glasses with side protection, OHSA or DOT approved vest, no short pants or short sleeves.
