To the ground is the only figure I ever use that's the true # what's lost in driveline and cogs doesn't add to the truck performance

That's pretty salty speaks a lot for the man that tuned it, a lot for the man driving it. I pull a merrit cattle pott mostly midwest, when the price of scrap steel is high I pull a 42 ft demolition trailer in state that's tall and tailgat catches lot air loaded or empty. I will usually wiegh close to 80000 with either wagon and avg 6.1 to 6.3 the pott seems to always do a little better

Thhe soot is only 7-9 at 15K oil sampling. The rockers and bridges have about 50K. Cam, rollers, rod and mains and all the front gears have 250K. New Detroit Radiator 125K. Shes a sweet 7 fb, costing .49 per mile on fuel for calendar year 13, till the drunk Falcon driver blew my high.

That 15 over gonna. Be a . 79 or .80 final ratio with 3.54 rears you should be able to hold at 1475 whhich is here CAT says she most economical and gain just a little road speed over the pete. Crying shame bout the accident. Mine is an 85

Thanks but way my tranny set up its a .62 over so whether I'm on a two lane black top or the super slab I got the right gear to keep her at 1350. Now that1475 rpm was actually for a B the E want to be a lot lower for fuel milage. Urs is more like a B but really aint either so play with it see where it does best

Im hoping its a .85 im running 3:34. 14th @ 1500 was 60 - 61 I believe. My 84 is a 220wb and 36 flat top. Hurt my feelings, my wife was crushed, we traveled VA - TX - OR & WA and back in it for 2 years. Been doing the VA - TX for a year almost to the day. We found a really nice 85 hood in Richmond for 900. It only has a RH cut out for the air. I tend on putting it back together. The guy has a complete front end still on the rails from a 85 if needed. The KW is a 94 900L, 264WB, 42" flat top. Really nice flatbed truck, my king pin is 24" so I have 4.5' from the nose to my rack centered on the tandem. Im the 3rd owner, has I am with my pete. I waiting on insurance......we will see!
