I'm the second owner of mine, its a 260 inch wb with a 63 inch. I was gonna put a 36 on it but then I found the number on sleeper matched the trk so the 63 won. Got a nice 36 though I don't need. Its factory dual breathers all I like is the paint can't decide if I want red with black fenders and top or black with burgandy fenders and top. I have drove for relatives when I wasn't off mechanicing for a pipeline company but this is first experiance as a truck owner got a lot to learn there I tell you
To me its about the money, I purchased my first truck on 1980. Been awhile. My operating authority 1994. I was netting .71 per mile after all cost the last 18 months with the 84. I hope I can regain that fast. I adverage 110000 miles per year.
I'm all bout the money too, just hope my thinking of buying a really clean well maintained older truck that I will have a little less than 20 of real money in will help me make money. Its paid for I didn't want a payment to start out on. Course I'd like to look cool just once in life. What would help me is a steady run, with the cattle or the dump wagon its nothing to do or can't do enuff. This just something I have always wanted to do and I decided its now or never.
