I didn't get your number. I'm going to just have you make it all mechanical so I dont have to drive back out when it needs worked on
I have a 4ck19297 in a 1993 379 ext hood with a 15spd I’ve had the truck for almost a year and once in 15th gear it loses power when I first got it it would get up to 70 75ish then drop on its face even bobtailing sometimes. But now it’s gotten worse. I replaced the diaphragm that didn’t fix it. The back bolt that is closest to the block that holds on the back of the afr might be stripped it didn’t really tighten up. But this morning I started my truck and immediately it had a fuel knock then it stopped then it started knocking again so I immediately shut it off can I get any help please thank you
So it’s been co vertex from a peec to manual. What was it as a peec 425, 350, 460? what pump and cam did they use? Have you checked pin timing? Any smoke? What about air in fuel? Hard to start? Can you crack a fuel line and the knock quit?
It white smokes while at idle also going down The road it has plenty power during low side and low high side but once in 15th year is when it loses I can get it up to 65 and then it just you know loses from there and it’s been like that since I bought it it was supposed to be a in frame but you know how that goes yesterday is the first time Matt had the fuel knock and it didn’t stay then came back then went away but it’s running like something awful I’ll replace the diaphragm on the back of the pump the one I took out had a small rip in it and the side with three holes that screw that holds it to the backside of the pump the air fuel ratio seems like that bolt is stripped out I tightened it best I could though I haven’t got around to cracking the injector lines and haven’t checked timing yet I plan on doing that either tonight or tomorrow been trying to get high up before rain
