I think Ill do the same. I'm sitting at grocery warehouse getting unloaded. As many of you know they take forever. Crazy hours and they act like they do not want their own product. Thankfully Millis don't visit them that often.

Ok. 3 weeks in school, then 3 days orientation, then with the trainer. no pay till you go with trainer. I'm going there myself, start September 15. If you hurry you can get that class to. Best starting pay out of school I have found and really good home time to. And they have really nice equipment.

I got a letter in the mail a little while ago saying Congratulations New Driver !!! Accepting me to MTI school and all info I need for DoT physical etc from JAZZ. Telling me to call this 1800 # as soon as I got that letter. Their Cartersville training facility is maybe 30 miles away from my home. Wonder what the chances I can get pre hired? Wanting to team drive with my cousin but due to his speeding tickets with in 3 yrs not sure if anyone will hire him lol so looks I might be solo which is fine and what I was planning on from the start. If I dont get hired on with Millis atleast I will have the CDL licence???

Why dont you think you would get hired, if you went thru MTI? Do you have something in your past? If you get your DOT physical okay, and clean record, should be no problem. I am supposed to get a letter soon to, they told me they mailed it out today, I am about 80 miles from Cartersville.

Well im not sure exactly why I wouldnt be. Im sure I could have no trouble but with me wanting to team with my cousin it could be though. But im alright with going solo as well. No have a squeaky clean criminal record with 1 ticket on my 3 year MVR report for speeding. DOT shouldnt be a problem even with my past medical history from 15+ years ago.

as long as you do well with the trainer you really have nothing to worry about, heck i would say between 95-98% get their own truck (of those who don't quit).
