Yea that would suck being put out. I talked to MTI and will be attending school Oct 13. I gotta pay my $100 and she will send me my packet/conformation. Im assuming im going to Cartersville. She was kinda hesitant kinda about telling me things kinda like she was busy and trying to rush me when I called lol.

Just a little word of advice. OTR driving is no bed of roses. Rarely do you get to see the sights, you get to see the Interstate and whats beside it. On the rare occasion you get to see something nice, you usually have 0 time to see it. Milllis likes to give loads that have little extra delivery time on them, They can be done legal, but just barely. If you get a load that can't be done legal, TELL your dispatcher asap, over the qualcomm. This is to save the message for later rebuttal. And don't let them push you around, as they cannot LEGALLY make you run it that waysrick773 Thanks this. -

My husband was with his trainer for 4-5 weeks and was doing good, and Mike Millis said they would not give him anymore time even though he lost time because he was out with his trainer in snow storms and they had to shutdown. Plus he lost 4 days because his trainer had to go to a safety banquet. So if you do not make it before this time they can let you go, and guess what they do? When you go to their school they have you sign papers and it states if you do not get hired or quit you have to pay them back DOUBLE! They do not hire you till you are completely done. My advice is to watch out! We are not covering up anything, he was told he had to do things that are illegal which could have dangerous, like shorten up his 10 hour break, and his logging. I will not go into detail but, he now is driving for a company that he is treated like a real human not the way Millis plays games. We thought at first it looked like a good company but now we feel scamed. Sure sign for the schooling and if they let you go you pay Double back, sounds like a scam to me they break the contract and we should pay. Read the older posts about Millis and other companies before you sign with any comapny, it could mean big expense.

This was a very good, positive thread before your negative interaction!! It has been a long time since your incident.
Please move on so this thread can go back to its positive energy, that it once was. THANX -
By reading the other posts, millis might have been thinking right, seems he blew by a weigh station, and late for a delivery already at his new company.

Just a response to your comment it was only 10 minutes and the weigh station incident was an error so get off my back, I was miss treated and I am done with the Millis whole story, so everyone can find out on their own. Don't judge me because I gave my opinions, which people ask for, don't tell me you haven't made a mistake in your driving, everyone makes mistakes, we are only human. It's must be nice to be soooo perfect. I will not repond on this company again, I have moved on, just quit putting me down.
Baack Thanks this.
