Suggestion to all , If you keep your times of delivery, pick ups and such, take what ever loads your giving, don't complain, don't purposely don't get hurt, turn your paper work in asap and don't be a slacker.
Millis won't lay off but if you are a slacker as with any company you will be gone. JMHO.

i drove for millis for a year and a half. it really seems to get the miles there you have to brown nose like crazy. and thats not how i roll. i have a friend there and he is only getting 1300miles/week. i wouldnt say anything bad about them but i cant say much good. hometime? i was home every wkend. but i also lived close to a major customer that had loads going there every single day. on a scale of 1- 10 i would give them a 5. not good not bad either.

hubby isn't a brown nose, never has been but he works hard and gets and picks up on time. He gets miles,we have no problem with miles, and home time ..he gets home when he wants or I need him for a family EMERGENCY(death only) His dispatcher makes sure he gets home when he is near home. He has also worked for Millis for years.
Yep there are usally 2 or 3 times a year where its slow, but we plan ahead for that.
Remember IDLE TIME,pick up time, delivery time and be safe most drivers should be ok.

Millis just like a handfull of big companies do the training thing with newly grauated drivers from a cdl mill ,because of the government money involved in the deal ,So a student is pretty much free labor ,and money in the bank ,so you'll see many companies hiring newbs over experienced drivers .

Millis does not hire from outside cdl schools, you either go thru there school or you have to have one year experience.

Waiting on my info in the mail from Millis. Already been approved.
Does anyone know the March start dates for Ohio?
Do they start more than one class per month, or just one.

    THANKS!

Same thing ,as they still get government money for putting a new driver in the seat ... Remember,CR England also has their own schools ...wink

CR England is lower than whale crap. Millis is a far better company than that. Not perfect, but 1000% better.
