Talk with Mike Millis. They were willing to waive the 500 up front for me and finance the whole 2500. However due to my circumstances I have to put off my new career to the first of the year. So give them a call and see.

Wolfman is correct - Let the recruiter know your situation and see if they will let you speak to Mike. He has been more than willing to assist if needed to get you started. But just remember - the more you dont pay up front means more out of your check each week. (just saying)

They are good people - just ask - the worst that can happen is they say no. But i doubt it.

    Good Luck!

What is their policy about team driving??? My wife and I want to go out as a team and we both need to get our CDLs, do we need to get our permits in our home state?? or can we go that in GA??

Do I understand right? That even if i have very recently completed a PTDI school, and have my CDL in hand, that I would need to go to Millis' school? Would I still need to pay them the $2500?

Yep, I believe you have that right. Not sure what they currently charge for school and over the road training. There is lots of current information here. They like to train their people their way from the start.

They only hire student grads from their school. otherwise you have to have either 3 or 6 months, can't remember what the site said at the moment.
