I am just curious, how large or small is Millis? My recruiter Deann said the company is expanding.

i think right now we are around 750 truck maybe 800. they have been expanding there regional freight more than anything
-
SPANKY, do ya happen to now which region they are expanding, northeast, south or mid west, when i used to work there 96 to 98 will pickup lots of scrap paper and took to the paper mills there in wisconsin and down south and pickup rolls of paper, but paper loads i bet are alot less now adays cause news paper sale's and books are down cause of the computer, we read online, smith transport did nothing but paper loads and warehouse them, now there doing some tankers, times have change sence the 90's so i'm sure millis is pulling some loads they never did before
-
They have expanded the southeast quite a bit but they also have the Texas regional and Ohio regional now. As well we also have the Streator and Wisconsin regional drivers. Oh yeah we also have the Eden regional drivers i forgot about. As far as paper loads go we still do alot of them
-
wow, a lot has change sence i left in the 90's, normal runs where from wis. to aswego,ny. brockway,pa. jersey, massachusetts, and lots of bursh gardens beer there in williamsburg,va. they made you wash out every trailer even when it was new big scam, i took a gal. of water out of the truck and dump it on the rear of the trailer, the guard may have been getting money under the table for sending every truck to the wash bay, keep up the alsome work
-
yep lots has changed i haven't been to oswego and close to a year and a half. We still do some out of williamsburg but not as much as we use to. Columbus was doing the same thing for a while on making you wash trailers out but that didn't last to long.

Hey all, I have been a driver for long time never heard anything bad about Millis from other drivers but then again wasnt really asking.. I come off the road about a year ago and now am looking to get back out there.. I dont wanna buy another truck (did that 2 times) and I dont wanna go to some company that u cant stand to work for.. My question is being an experienced driver and having been around awhile as both a company driver and owner op do you think Millis would be a good fit.. I dont mind running my a$# off and I dont mind staying out 2 weeks possibly 3 weeks. I also live just North of Kansas City (St.Joseph).. Any comments would be appericiated..

Taz...call 1-800-937-0880 and talk to Craig, Fay or Alice. I'm not real sure about them hiring in your area. I've put several ex-owner-ops thru orientation and haven't heard any complaints.
