Button on bar that says "Carrier Search". You can search by name but if you have a USDot # it will be faster.

As a driver for them, they have yet to have me do anything illegal. If dm would all I have to do is contact the safty dept. The only thing I can complain about is the milage pay. as for their safty record it is on each and every driver to do what they are sapposed to do. They want us to be safe and legal, as far as the eobr is concerned you should of brought it up to safty. I guess you wanted to run illegal. So stop complaining and move on already. Western might not be the best but they are working on trying to be a better company. And yes they are in it to make money, its called a company. it could be worst it could be Swift or Werner.

" I guess you wanted to run illegal. " Driver,LOL , Give it some Time and you will understand what the EOBR is For at western Express.
The EOBR ensures that you take responsibility for violations beyond your control. Giving Western Express more ability to turn their backs on Drivers.
If ones intent is good their actions would be void of coercion.
Sense The Day I Requested western Express to Make Changes to minimize my Risk of violation Recordings on the EOBR,my Family has been subjected to Coercion That I thought would never be present in the United States of America.
Good Luck to you, I hope You Have no problems with Western. Just stay sharp and don't trust them. Do not violate any Laws No matter how much they tell you they have your back.
" Run illegal" If you own A Home and Heat it with Home Heating oil and the price of crude oil sky Rockets , The price to heat your Home increases, Pay Decreases at your Job to offset the higher cost of fuel, At the Same Time customers are slowing Down as it is causing a rise in their raw material costs. As a Driver what do you Do To keep up with the higher cost of heating your home,at the same time the economy is slowing?
This is only one example of How backwards it is to have to work in a socialist environment while supporting your Family in a capitalist environment. Their is no good intent in this forced ideology.
You Have to Drive for a company who is structured to support their Drivers to Run Legal and Still able to pay their Drivers a Living.
Also Be Careful in what public servants you trust out on the Road,If they are forcing you to Drive you will still be responsible for the violations that occur including Murder type charges should some one loose their life as a result.

it might be so. i know not all dms there are good to there drivers, and its a starting place for newbie's like me. i was told by safty dept if my dm wants me to run illegal or do something unsafe to report it right away to them. as far as an eobr it has its advantages and disadvantages. i have run out of time and safe place to pull off and i have yet to here word one from them on that. i guess i have one of the good dms i did here horror stories about some out of decatur.

i did and still have my eyes wide open about things, and yes i do take advice from others that have been around the block a few times. i have only requested 1 home time and they got me there 1 1/2 days early and came back out on the day i told them i would. i gave him 2 weeks and reminded him on it, now getting my truck to nashville to the bodyshop has been a strugle, but i keep on him about it. the truck had body damage on it when i got it, and yes i did have a nonpreventable with a curb in jersey. prostars just sit to low. my personal car sits higher then my truck. 2 mabey 3 inches clearence with sideskirts. all in all it has not been bad here thus far, i will be looking for something with better pay and maybe a pet policy in a couple of months. but i wont burn my bridges because you never know.

i did not meen to come off as a know it all or a company recruiter. western is a good starting point for newbies, it is better then werner i have talked to drivers who left them and came here. and yes the grass is not greener on the otherside.

    keep on trucking.

after reading all the complaints on here about western express ,from 1 driver says they deducted money from his pay because he used his ez-pass? $200 deducted from weekly training pay! whats up with that? i need to eat and survive until reg wages kick in,so that has me realy worried on survival and eating healthy! you're not allowed to use toll roads?well, fine if you're not charged per mile for going around, heard that too. long waiting periods for a trainer, you're getting training pay while waiting? $200 getting deducted too, while waiting? some of the complaints i read on equipment repair is hard to believe,i hope its not true. i've read alot, too much to mention. i was suppose to lv but i had guards for a week then i get on here and thats where this driver was complaining about be charged to use toll card. i can't seem to get on that bus and haven't returned my recruiters call, i think i should and tell her how i feel from the complaints i've read. i want western express because they run northeast ,BUT?
