We have our problems, like any company, but are better than most. I find it odd they won't let you flatbed, I can't count how many times I've run the Pike and I always see other Roehl skateboards on it too. The freight rolls thru there. Good luck, I've heard good things about the reefer side of the house.

Well i live in the philly area...and where i'm going to move which is 100 miles away...they offer flatbed in that area...so i'm guessing maybe like 50+ miles outside of philly they start the flatbeds...but see what you can do...ask maybe a fleet manager or disbatcher if ya can...on what's the chances of someone getting a flatbed job outside the area...but when i was on the phone with the recruiter...they said that they are sure that flatbeds maybe stop pass thru the area going somewhere...but as to picking up or dropping off freight in my area...they don't or rarely do...

They told me the same crap and hired me as a van driver. I live in Florida and it's nearly impossible to find flatbed freight coming out of here, but I still managed to jump over. Just give them a chance, once you get through EVO 1 & 2 and into your own truck pester the crap out of your DSR. Just be able show that you're a reliable driver and it shouldn't be an issue, especially if you are moving into a flatbed hiring area. Don't get discouraged. If you're an asset, they'll try and hang on to you. Also, try and get a flatbed trainer for one of your EVOs, so you can get a taste. I trained with a guy that was gungho flatbed until he tried it, so it never hurts. Best of luck and keep us updated.
