Chris went off the deep end and pretty much asked to be fired. At least from what I saw and from what Mark told me. But I'm not 100% sure I believe everything Mark says either.

After what happened to you,.. and then to have Josh call me on the phone crying in tears because he brought the truck back like Anthony asked and then couldnt get his personal property back really sent me on a tizzy. I knew then I was not going to stay. I even told Mark on my next home time that when I came back out, it would be my last time out. Turned out it was.

Anthony tried his best to set up me. The only thing bad Anthony can say about me is that I did not return his truck. How ever I have a doctors note and spent the night in the hospital from injuries I sustained while lumping his load that clearly show I was incapable of driving his truck. My wife's lawyer is ready if he tries to black list me in anyway shape or form. So at least one of us got out with out incident.

Kenny, Frank and Andre are still under Anthony's thumb. Dave says he's quitting,.. but he'd been telling me that all year. Bill,.. not sure what his deal is. Hell of a driver,.. nice guy all around. But he's like Mark and supports Anthony's system and I never could figure out why or what Anthony has on them. I'd say its money and he pays them over the top,.. but some how I really doubt it. I was paid ok,.. but not nearly enough for the miles and time away from home I had to deal with. Only thing I can surmise is that neither of them like their home life. Thats the only conclusion I could come up with.

I'm home in Fl. Going to take a month off,.. doctor said it would be at least 6 - 8 weeks before I fully recover and even then I should not over exert myself. I'll never work for another company that makes us lump loads like that. Talked with a buddy of mine and he says his company has a Superintendent position with take home truck and full benefits opening up in Feb or March for a project they will be starting. Think I might go back in construction. Either that or I might just see about getting a SBL and starting my own 1 truck company up.

My wife is finished with school. She's doing consulting work. Works 3 - 4 days a week and clears $1200 - $1500 a week. I clearly chose the wrong profession. If I wouldnt go nuts I'd just sit around the house and be a house husband LOL.

Best of luck to you Preston,.. I'd try to dispute his claims if you think you can.

im glad to hear that and im gonna have a hard time fighting him after the incident with walter and the damage he did to the trailer anthony is blaming that on me he is also blaming the damage done to daves truck the one u dropped me off to pick up in londonderry he said that im the one who damaged the fuel tanks on that truck and i will agree with u on how u have the truck in a secure location i can assure u their is nothing he can do to u and i kno this because the same thing happened to me i left a truck after it ran out of fuel due to the owner not turning on the fuel card i went to the locale police station asked them what i can do and as long as the truck & trailer are not damaged and their in a secure location he can not do anything to u its his truck not yours so its HIS responsability to pick it up if i were u i would just wipe my hands completly with anthony and just go on about my business and focus on you and your family and im glad to hear u and your family r doing well i wish u and ur family a safe and happy new year

Man....... This is good stuff! Just sittin here with my bag of popcorn and soda pop :happy1::smt030

But seriously. Do you have plans to turn this guy Anthony and his company in? It sure sounds like you have all the info, documents and evidence to support most of your claims. How would you feel if one of his current drivers did in fact fall asleep behind the wheel and took out a minivan full of kids and their parents on a road trip?? Your going on and on with all this info and story's for the public to see. But who really needs to see is the DOT!!

Its a hard decision to make. On the one hand I have 5 men's livelihood in my hand and on the other I protect the public from a potential disaster waiting to happen.

I hear you Skyline,.. and before you pass judgement on me for turning the other cheek,.. please hear me out.
Lets say I turn in what I have. They do an audit on his company. The worst they find are some bad logs from his drivers. I know for a fact not a single driver will stand up for themselves and go up against Anthony. Anthony gets a slap on the wrist and its back to business as usually for him. Sadly,.. I'm of the opinion that they wont shut him down until someone does die.

this is how this man is he yells at all his drivers he s very short tempered. I worked for him for 2 yrs and he treated me like crap then he would act as if nothing was wrong that it was normal to scream and threaten you. my final straw was when i had an accident due to weather conditions. its called an accident for a reason but he made it seem like i purposely wrecked his truck. i was left stranded for over 24 hrs and when he heard i found a ride home he wanted to change his tone and have me wait for another driver to pick me up.

Sometimes in life you have to find out the hard way to see the truth of what many of us dealt with. I too was blind but was well aware of the short temper however bit my tongue to provide for my family. I have seen and heard of many accidents other drivers have done yet they werent fired just had fines to pay damage. but the first moment i have an accident due to weather conditions im fired right away and left stranded.

Funny you should say that, I heard the same thing from another driver. Name withheld for obvious reasons. Said Mark goes home about every 3 - 4 weeks while we were made to tough it out and stay away from our loved ones for 8 - 10+ weeks.

I stuck it out because I needed the OTR seat time. I used him as a stepping stone to get in with a better company. I made sure while there I had no accidents or anything he could use to keep me under his thumb. I had a couple log violations during an inspection. Never worried about that.

Funny thing is that during another post I have here on TTR Anthony logged in under a fake name pretending to be an anonymous outsider. He tried to make me look bad for leaving his truck,.. and I can only laugh about it now because it was his antics in that post that got me the job I have now.

Guy told me to call this company, said he needed good drivers. I was skeptical at first. But low and behold. He was legit. I flew out a couple weeks ago, owner picked me up at the airport. Put me up in a nice hotel for the night. Now I'm in a C15 powered ungoverned 386 Pete, 13 spd, doing flat bed work. I love it here so far. Flatbed is so much sweeter then reefer. No 2 hr waits to get a door,.. then another 2 - 3 hrs to get unloaded, then waiting longer for the receiver to count your load and sign your paperwork. Now I pull up, they are happy to see me. Cant wait to load or unload me. I control how my trailer is loaded. Yeah tarping kinda blows, but for $.42 a mile plus bonuses,. all the miles I can handle. I think I can suck it up. Have only had to tarp 2 loads so far. Each load is different,.. new destinations all the time. I'm loving it. And to think,.. I have Anthony trying to black list me to thank for this job. Plus boss wants to sell the trailer I am pulling now and wants me to run an RGN and just do heavy hauls. Talk about coming out smelling like a rose. Thats my area of expertise.

I never trusted Mark or Anthony. I have so many recordings, particularly of Mark instructing me on how to do things the 'Apergis' way. I spent 10 months preparing for the day I quit.I didnt intend to leave his truck..I always knew that would be like shooting off my foot in this industry,.. but I got to the point where I didnt care anymore. I just wanted out. Now I'm back on board with a much better company. Only out 3 - 4 weeks,.. boss called me yesterday to tell me what I good job I was doing. I feel vindicated for all the abuse I put up with while at Apergis. I did it for my family. And now I am reaping the rewards for 'paying my dues'.

Oh,.. and Mark told me flat out. Only reason he didnt want to see me go was because he didnt have to babysit me. I put the truck where it needed to be and made my deliveries on time. Said I made his job easier. What a selfish schmuck. Not a single care or concern about how I felt or what I needed. Only for his own personal gain. Mark can go rot with his BFF for all I care. He's made his bed.
