Does anyone know what the process to appeal a service failure is? I don't know why I got it and no one can tell me why either. I delivered the load on time with no issues. The description on the kiosk says I missed Target time but I didn't. Target time was 07/08@ 00:00 drop and hook. My arrival time was 07/07@ 20:00. I asked my DM and she doesn't understand either and told me nothing can be done and I would have to swallow it. This is bs and very unfair. I don't say much, I just do my job but I'm not gonna let my service record for something I didn't do. Ive never had anything bad to say about Swift, but if this ST sticks ill be looking somewhere else to drive.

Tell you DM to "swallow it" and ask if she likes it>>>>
-
I believe you were two hours early. 00:00 is that blink of time between midnight, 23:00, and 00:01. My understanding is Target cannot be early. Ask Bluebonn about that minute early SF he got.
123456 and Gold_Miner Thank this. -
Actually, it's between 23:59 and 00:01.
Midnight would be 23:59-24:00 of that day or 00:00-00:01 of the next.
An hour plus one minute is hardly a 'blink'.
But I agree - got there way too early. 4 hours is a bit much, especially if it was a JIT load. -
It was a home depot rdc load. I was allowed to deliver early.. had to be be there before midnight according to the swift Target time which I was.
-
Then tell your DM to get off that fat duff and find out what the heck is going on.
Exactly where is the SF if you were allowed to deliver early?
If your DM is no help, contact your fleet mgr.Rug_Trucker Thanks this. -
Yeah ill be calling the fleet manager in the morning. I had a great dm before he got promote and now this new dm seems worthless. I'm thinking about changing terminals, maybe Lancaster
Also, New people thinking of going to Swift. Despite what I'm dealing with I still like Swift as a whole. This situation could happen at any company. It's not the company its who you deal with in the company. -
I have a queation. I just did a 5 stop home depot run. QC said no early deliveries, as you may be refused. Then it said must not deliver 1 min early or 1 min late or you'll get a svc failure..
uhh I called each store they said early is ok, and were happy. Every one I got to I was 2 to 4 hours early..
Am I going to get 5 service failures? If so then it looks like im getting fired this week. -
I couldn't imagine working for an organization such as Swift!

"uhh I called each store they said early is ok, and were happy. Every one I got to I was 2 to 4 hours early.."
You called and cleared eary delivery with consignee, that shifts responsibility for early delivery back to them, hence, no service failure.
To the original poster, you need to go up the chain of command till your issue is resolved. From the information you've given, this does not appear to be a service failure, however, it seems the computer noted your early arrival and decided you were outside your delivery window. Fleet mngr should be able to resolve it. If this is your first service failure, you are not in any immediate danger of termination, however, if this is the beginning or end of a trend then you might have an issueZukimart Thanks this.
