Current Limit is 62 for new drivers 66 after one year. As for the forced routing, Its essentially this: You get dispatched, with the dispatch is a route you must take...or fixed fuel stops that force you to take a particular route. Takes away ALL freedom to go where you wish to deliver the load. I am rarely over 15 miles over the loaded dispatch, and usually I come in within 5 miles. But I go how I WANT to go, not how I'm told to go. Sometimes I go around Chicago, sometimes I go through Chicago. Depends on time of day. Sometimes I stay on interstates, sometimes I take state highways, depends on my mood. Either way I am almost never more than 5% over route and I often come in under route. My last load I was 3.5 miles over route on an 800 plus mile run. I'm sorry, forced routing is something I'll walk for. I really like Millis, but I'm not married to it. I fuel exclusively at Love's, I only fuel somewhere else if I'm sitting under a quarter tank and no Loves nearby. Not trying to be negative, cause like I said, I really like the company, but if I'm gonna be micromanaged like that, I'll just go somewhere else and I'll make sure wherever I go does not use that program.

Steve, I don't hate my job...I hate the double standard at Millis and the outright lies they tell. Company policy is dictated by who is telling it and who they tell it to. What I do hate is a know nothing rookie, you, that came in and even before you got in class you were telling everyone how wrong they were about everything. If you deny it, then you are a bald face liar. So, before you decide you know anything about me,just let me say you don't know and are making the same conjectures you lecture everyone else for. Believe it or not, we got messages from Millis about these things long before your holiness got here...now...I am done, you just aren't worth my time anymore.

And for the record, Solo, the only thing i claimed to know anything about was cameras and how they functioned, and as i expected, they function pretty much exactly as i stated.

What is the policy on Hiring, I went to prison in 94-97 and have a drug felony arrest from 2004 that was dismissed after I went to treeatment in 2005, clean since with now driving problems ever, just a suspended for failure to appear when I was homeless in 2004. I'm in SoCal but don't care where I work out of, I'm single and don't have need of much home time! Just want to make $$$

No, you're not getting hired by Millis. You live in SoCal, far from their hiring area. And a few arrests probably don't look good either.

That's something for a two year driver. When did you get to dictate to a company what you will or won't do? Wow. The entitlement of some "drivers" nowadays. And to the rest of these under 1 year guys. Welcome to trucking. This is how the game is played. Start job hopping now, and you'll regret it for the rest of your career, however short it will be. You don't make the rules. They do. I'm going to give you some advice that most will not. They don't need you. You need them. With the glut of new drivers coming into the market, most, let's be honest, undesirable, and willing to work cheap, the cowboy days are over. You're as replaceable as underwear at this point. The moment you start dictating is the moment they'll find a reason to get rid of you. Not being mean. Not being untoward. Just telling you how it is. You're in their $200,000 investment. Welcome to trucking boys.

Best of luck to you! I was sent home from orientation once because of a cpap issue. I really wanted to work for a particular company but everything ended up working out for the best. Just keep applying even though other companies may not seem perfect right now. All companies have there ups and downs and chances are very high you'll be working for someone else in a year or so.
