    Nowadays. One would think that a company that's begging for help and advertises it would actually set up an auto-generated rejection email, or even an auto-rejection based on your home address. Something like that takes very little time and effort on the part of the website designer.

    I had to call just to be told, we don't hire west of the Mississippi! I tried to tell them I would be willing to relocate, but they still said NO!

    I actually just had a pretty extensive criminal record check for an IT job I got and nothing shows up anymore. Its been about 13 years since my last conviction. I am sick of doing IT though. I think this go around since nothing shows up anymore that I won't even mention it. Also note in addition to the check I had I also paid for a lexus nexus check which is the most thorough check other than an FBI check and nothing showed there either. I then looked up the state where my convictions are and from what I read records are automatically sealed from employment screening after I believe it said 10 years.

    Very interesting, I was advised by Millis this morning that "they only hire folks from states east of the mississippi river also. Anybody know if this is a true fact, or......?" I'm in Colorado. Thanks.
