Why did you tell prime the reason swift rejected you ?
It’s none of their business.
man’s when you go for a dot physical , the doc is NOT your parent in healthcare . The doc is basically looking for reasons to deny you a medical card .
so answer like you were talking to a cop .
Short concise answers to the questions and that’s it .
And when they ask you about snoring or sleeping Your answer should be “I sleep fine “
and unless your back is noticeable through your shirt or is noticeable by observation of your movements , it’s none of their business .Opendeckin, Bobblehead, kemosabi49 and 3 others Thank this. -

Right. A woman came on here asking about failing a drug test when she worked somewhere that had nothing to do with trucking or FMCSA.
We told her to keep her mouth shut. She applied with a trucking school and passed the physical and drug test and background check. When she was leaving the physical, she went back inside and said, "I'm a very honest person and just can't lie. I failed a drug test a few months ago."
She was immediately fired and told to never apply there again.
Then she came back on here wailing needing someone to help her find a 2nd chance company. Nothing we could do for her. She didn't even have a CDL yet.Geekonthestreet, Boondock, BennysPennys and 3 others Thank this. -

Apparently.....some people just can't keep it shut.......

Lot of truckers and wannabe truckers walking around unemployed because they can't keep their mouth shut.
No one that has the power to hire admires people that just keep yapping away. When the person isn't hired and walks away, the whole office shakes their head and laughs.Another Canadian driver, Opus and 88 Alpha Thank this. -
Yup. Just had one disclose a bit too much today. Record looked clean enough, aside from a stint in the pen for assault... but he said too much, and some of the information that was easily uncovered from the police report and news headlines of his arrest (that we wouldn't have even looked for without him opening his mouth) leaves him ineligible for hire. That's all I can say without saying too much myself.Another Canadian driver, Opus, TB John and 2 others Thank this.

How can you say too much? His criminal background is public information. You can't "say too much" talking about.Another Canadian driver and Bizzarrogeorge Thank this.

Because nobody will apply to a company if they know their information is released to the world that they applied and were rejected, that's why. I am in a position of trust and cannot break that trust with any applicant, whether I hire them or not.Another Canadian driver, TB John, gentleroger and 4 others Thank this.

You sound basically exactly like where I was at about six months ago. Weight height all that. Trust me, get yourself on a very solid high protein low carb diet for about six months. Dropped about 80 pounds. Do some light cardio every day and getting some weight training if you can. You don’t have to do anything dramatic just do stuff. All those medical issues you’re talking about will be gone. Guaranteed. Then you can go work anywhere.
Another Canadian driver and TB John Thank this.
