Yea I thought that was odd too, but its a very small terminal so I dont even think they have road drivers. Im just waiting on the TM to call next week. Is it true that u have to work 30 straight days before they can hire me? Also what is the starting pay for a p&d casual I guess what I will be if they choose to hire me?
application is under review for YRC Freight.

As a city driver you have to work a 100 days before they let you into the union. KEEP YOUR PAY STUBS. And talk to the shop steward (union rep) they will help you keep track. Dont ask managment about your days, they dont care as they can get away with things with you since your not on the union list yet. One guy had the time in and wouldnt say anything, I told him ask the shop steward, he went right the terminal manager and the manager came back the next day and said we dont need you anymore. I got in trouble right before I made the list, and he told me that I should just can you now before you make the list so I dont have to deal with the union. But I ended up stayin on and making the list
Shaggy Thanks this. -
