I would have to say the insubordination is the biggest thing.. the chain of command should always be followed.. not trying to start anything..ya know we love cops

Channel 19 how is the school at integrity. I have talked to Scott a couple of times. I have researched Nu Way and Suburban also. They all have different prices for some reason. Scott was telling me that your up and driving on day one and lots of one on one time and hands on. What are your thoughts. Any company your thinking of.

red eye
The key to the insubordination thing is I was fired due to investigating the sgt which recommended me to be fired. He was involved in narcotics trafficking -
donno what to tell ya
wrong is wrong no matter who's in charge. just because they're in charge doesn't mean that if they make a mistake or do something wrong it shouldn't be brought to their attention.. look at the president, he has the biggest ##### in the country and people are always telling him he's wrong/messing up..
at some point you have to stop playing follow the leader and make a stand.. the insubordination only goes so far, there's so many rules and regs that trump that card.. only hard thing is finding someone to back you when ya do. -
jeeze did you at least get a case on the guy? Sucks when lawmen 'do the right thing' only to be grinded down by a corrupt system.
Officer I'd say you probably don't even want to get into trucking right now.
You want to get a good lawyer, get your PBA involved and fight the hell out of this termination. If there's a Sarge out there in Michigan trafficking drugs who knows what else he's willing to smuggle. (Did anyone forget we're at a war with a group of people who want to use WMD's if they had a chance).
The whole system is so funky right now it makes me sick.
Oh, hey I know, if you've got a carry permit, look into private security firms! I used to do limo work in NYC. Out here a gun permit is impossible to get. Being an armed chauffer is a TOP DOLLAR gig! You drive vip's around all night.
Don't bother with trucking with your kind of exp. You could get a lot more if you know where to look. -
integrity got more job placement then at suburban plus they got good equipment

There's a local department around here that's a glorified private security firm. They run a very wealthy suburb, and never do anything more than write tickets. There's been 2 murders in 30 years and they made a hash out of both and had to bring in detectives from neighboring towns.

I live right by Integrity as well as Nu Way. I have been researching alot of schools and the only one not really brining up any red flags yet is Integrity. P.A.M. has decent reviews but some unhappy drivers which is very common throughout. CR England by far has THE WORST reviews that I have found. Nu Way has alot of people angry at them and there is talk of a law suit of some sorts. etc...
But nothing at all about Integrity until I found this thread and still nothing bad. I am going to look into them further due to the location being less than 2 miles from me. If anyone has a personal experience with this company please let me know good or bad.
As far as mlange1221 is concerned... keep your head up brother. Detroit has had alot of corrupt officials in the recent past and I think you need to follow the instructions given here and either take your chances in court ( if you think you have enough evidence that is ) or go for the armed security/body guard type of work mentioned in a previous post.
We need good people like you in the world ready to see the wrong and make a stand against it no matter what the cost. If more people in your dept. did the same along side you, you may still have employment in the place you called home for 17 1/2 years. Sorry for the downturn of events for you sir and good luck.

I have many friends who are prior LEO's one was Officer of the year two years in a row and they will never do it again. You can't be a true cop anymore. Doing the right thing is not apart of the SOP. Being corrupt and living a double standard is.
