FTA (failure to appear) would not be an imediate suspension, failure to comply usually is a suspension.
FTA would more than likely mean pending action, either it turns into a failure to comply, or the fine is paid.
It sounds to me like the dmv had it on your mvr, which would send a red flag that a suspension or warrant or both may happen. Even if you are making payments the dmv would have no way to show that on you mvr. When you paid the ticktet off you should of recieved some sort of reciept showing the ticket/case # and that you paid it. That is all you need. So, if you got that when you paid the ticket off just keep it until your mvr updates, which can take weeks sometimes.

Already cleared up. I went through the MAU and had my recorded cleaned up of all the old stuff and the FTA was removed as well before it was paid off. The reason the DMV gave is becasue it wasn`t old enough for them to suspend it. The courts were taking the money from my check but it has since been paid in full with a PIF letter which i faxed to Werner. My recruter said she needed a letter from the DMV stating that my license was not suspended and why is wasn`t. The DMV manager says the DMV doesn`t do letters like that and would`nt in my case because in his words "Werner should know how to read a MVR by now". My recruter was kind of pissy and said she would have to give it to the review board but she didn`t think they would take it. A few days later she called and left a messege that all was good and was ready to set a orientation date. Just from the way she handled the whole thing gave me a bad feeling. My recruiter at Swift answered all of my questions, did`nt say anything about my MVR ,and he does have a current one, and I just got a better feel from him. The school I went through had good things to say about Swift as well and they push Werner big time.

I know here that if someone FTA's, that before the license is suspended they have to be notified by mail, then if their license is going to be suspended the are sent a certified letter saying that if they do not pay the ticket or appear in court before such and such date their license will be suspended on such and such date.
If someone was making payments then their license would not be suspended.
Werner recruiters or any recruiter should know how to read a mvr and how things work, but I imagine they have a pretty high recruiter turnover as well.
Good luck at swift. -
Really ? They have a lot of freight ?
From their third quarter report ...http://www.streetinsider.com/Press+...arter+2009+Revenues+and+Earnings/5027040.html
So with less trucks and less miles being run why are they always hiring ?
