Got the acceptance call today !!! Decided to start August 27th however instead of July 30. Wanted to give more than a 2 week notice for my current employer. I also need to get things finalized here as well.

Need to go get my DOT medical done and the permit as well. Neither should be a problem, I have been studying for a few months now and it sounds like it isn't all that hard. Medical shouldn't be a problem, I am short and stocky, little over weight for my height, just the way I have always been. I do an extremely physical job now so there isn't anything truck driving could throw at me that is any harder.

Anyway, I can't wait to be part of the Millis Team and get this show on the road!!!!

BTW, Baritone if you read this, I'd love to talk to you more. I seen in your video that you spent a year in the Philippines, my wife is Filipino and lived there all her life until 3 years ago. I love the Philippines!! Nicest most humble people in the world.

Edit: Forgot to add, I will be in Richfield, WI for the 3 week training on Aug. 27th

Congrats Truck It... you wont be disapointed. I just finished week 1 at Trenton and it has been a great experience so far.

I am the other good student in the class with Truck It and the only woman. Having a blast doing what I've been wanting to do for many years. I also hope the other guy makes it but after a week he seems to be sitting crooked on the wrong side of the fence. Chris is a great instructor and seems very knowledgeable and deals very well with the challenges of being an instructor. I couldn't do what he's doing. I guess that after dealing with too many people in the 7 years that I've been driving buses, my tolerance is just kind of thin. Sometimes I feel like an a@@hole for the crap that comes out of my mouth with the other guy but I try to keep myself toned down atleast a little from my normal outspoken self. LOL Everything is going as expected so far. Good times !!

Good luck to you both! I'll be starting in Cartersville on August 20th after being out of trucking for 3 years. Looking forward to it.
