Applying to CDL schools with a speeding ticket help!

Give it to me straight. how ###### am i?

I'm looking to get my CDL and was considering applying to prime's orientation. However, I recently got my record back and my speeding ticket from 2 years ago is still on there. I believe they got me for going 85 in a 65. The vehicle code isn't a reckless driving one just a standard speeding one. Nothing else on my driving record or personal record.

From what I've heard, Prime is pretty strict so will this affect my chances of Prime recruiting me? Are there any mega alternatives that will accept me with it(besides Western express lmao) I'm not trying to pay out of pocket for my CDL and would like to go the mega route if possible. Forget Prime.
Werner is ok if you refuse the Dollar General account.

 

I'm in Los Angeles County at the moment. I have family in the bay area too that I could stay with for a little bit if there's opportunities up there.

 

oops I totally meant to write western express not werner. I'd be willing to give them a chance if they'd accept me. I'm considering just mass applying to all the megas at once and seeing who'd be willing to work with me.

 

Western Express no longer has a cdl school program.
Do you want something with local runs or is OTR ok?

 

That may be a good plan. May not have to, but if you do, then at least it's a start.
