Maybe you must have both switches on? In the cab and APU? I'll check it out that probably my problem.

yeah, i found in my searches, the a/c system will shut down that whole APU.
i told you of this, glad you found it. as i mentioned, many times the a/c seals are being twisted when it is installed. this should be a dealer issue and shouldn't be any charge for repairs. i'll bet you dollars to donuts any dealer is doing a whole lotta work for no charge, or reduced fee's......for the stupidity of the installer.
let us know how you make out with this.Manny129 Thanks this. -

Actually 56y is sby...standby. go under the bunk looking at the box remove the cover. Looking at the wires and the boards look for 2 black peices welded to the circuit board...that bottom screw next to them count 5 screws up..unscrew and it should read sby on it. Leave the wire off u can still run it. What u have is a bad circuit board.

56y is sby...standby. Go under the bunk open the box. On the bottom right hand side u will see 2 black things that look like scuba gear welded to the circuit board. Go to the screw right to the left and count 5 screws up. Unscrew and if ur reads SBY leave the wire off. It will still run but u might have to shut it off yourself. There is a problem with that circuit board. But it will still work with the wire disconnected.... just had the same problem.

I also have a Thermo King Tripac. It is about 6 months old. It has starting pouring water out of the front, at the bottom of the filter, (which is clean, by the way), and soaking the rugs in front of the bunk. I had it set to 62 last night, and again with the water pouring out. Is there a clogged up drain plug somewhere that I should know about? What is causing this problem?
Thanks for any help you can provide, Christy -
My apu starts runs fine but once in awhile don't blow cold could be operator error I'm used to thermo King apu with new company they use comfort pro. God it's to hot. Help

The Carriers suck IMO compared to the TK's, but them cycling cold and off is normal in my experience, as with most any AC system. Above 90 degrees, I've found I have to use the curtain to seal off the bunk area from the front cab for it to cool well enough to be comfortable, and keep the afternoon sun at the back of the trailer.
I assume you can hear the noisy condenser fan at the back of the cab cycling on/off?
