AR Transport?

After I put in the app how long did it take them to get back with you ?

 

Took 4 days for the terminal manager of the closest terminal to me to give me a call. I think it really depends on the terminal though.

 

Cool I put the app in this morning I will give them till Monday before I call

 

Yea corp. Processes them and then send them to the terminal manager of the terminal closest to you and he/she takes over from there. Best of luck.

 

well got to go for physical and drug test Friday in charlotte. anyone here working out of that terminal?

 

Not yet but I will be dealing a lot more with them when I get moved to kingsport tn. I do know most of the long haul dispatching is done by the Florence terminal dispatcher for Charlotte. Which is my home terminal now and will still be when I move but will deal with Charlotte some too... best of luck. Keep us posted.

 

well I got all the paper work and physical out of the way Friday just waiting on drug test to come back. several of the people I talked to at the terminal was pleased with how things are getting a lot better in reference to trucks and trailers and equipment to work with. I will probably start training Tuesday. so we will see how things go, one thing have learned you never know for sure until you try it.

well I got 3 days training in this week, no big surprises. I did talk to several drivers who weren't very happy but I don't let that keep me from finding out for myself. I did find out that when A R sold out another holding company bought them and that means very limited money will be spent on trucks and equipment. and that's about it for now. we got another week to go so will see how things go.
