Yes those inboard bumpers are a bad placement, if you order the trailer, make sure they are on the outside.

Great Dane is my favorite, Stoughton is second. Utility I am not a big fan of because I've seen too many people have too many issues with them rusting apart prematurely.

I’ve always owned Great Dane’s dry and reefer..just because.
Unfortunately I haven’t been impressed with the lack of quality control from the factory..wires and airlines pulled tight on metal parts etc.
I do regret going from a plated dry van to a standard high spec but that’s on me. I chose sexy over practical and have lost many loads because of it.
Buy a plated one because you never know when you’ll need it and in today’s environment every edge will matter.Blagoje and gentleroger Thank this. -
think I’m going to try vanguard next, had a rental for a few weeks after my accident and for being the same year as my utility was in much better shap, also the closest dealer to me, full warrenty for 5 years and if it doesn’t work out I’ll go with something else next go around -

What does everyone think of Vanguard dry vans? I've heard some good things.
-
I wanted to try a vanguard reefer, no one wanted to order me what I wanted, same with Great Dane and they were about 14k more there’s a utility dealer 3 miles from my house and for some reason I pulled in and wound up getting exactly what I wanted, giving them one more try from brand new to hopefully impress me more then the last one, this one has a flat floor though so I’m hopeful
