You're arguing a fact with an opinion. What I said is not wrong. Quit saying that it is.
It's 15 minutes. Not 10. Not 7.5. Quit making up your own regulations.

No , no regulation specifies a time for fuel stops but if your safety department accepts that you can get out of a truck , enter info in a fuel pump , take off the fuel cap , fill the tank and replace the cap in less than 15 minutes they're a bunch of idiots . I bet you also pull up and go in for a receipt but we won't figure that .Sublime Thanks this.
-
I haven't logged a fuel stop over 10 minutes in the past year on the E log. It just doesn't take that long. Pull up, hit the button, fuel up, pull up, hit the button to off duty and go inside for a drink and nature break. Its usually 6-8 minutes.Red Hot Mess, Ghost Ryder and mickeyrat Thank this.

You can go off duty with a truck at a fuel island ? If you pay with a fuel card the time is recorded on billing . I doubt an auditor doesn't believe you don't go in for a receipt .driverdriver Thanks this.

This was on an older phone and company policy did not allow muting. It had no volume.
-
Why not? Superior does not require us to turn in fuel receipts. We are allowed to go off duty for meal stops. Where the truck is parked is irrelevant. I am on duty at the precise time my comdata card is approved.
-
Naaaa,I think they are just phasing out solo drivers...
-
I log all my fuel stops off duty--since I only use full service truckstops! Save time on my 10 hour driving day---
and just because my wife tells me it isn't 1975 anymore--DOESN'T MAKE HER RIGHT!!tinytim Thanks this. -
It can be done. I've fueled at a TS in under 15 minutes plenty of times.
Anyway, that is not the point. The point is:
If the duration is under 15 minutes, flag it. It doesn't need to be logged as a status change. I bet none of you EOBR freaks would know how to run on paper. Your logs would be a royal mess. -
Careful. According to the EOBR freaks, you're now a outlaw supertrucker.
