Are fender mirrors pointless?

Well the convex mirror set right will show you alot then you have your above the side window mirror, but that requires turning your head slightly for some drivers thats a bit too much like work.

 

Alot is not everything.

With the fender mirror I have no blind spots on my right side. FYI, I do have the California AND a convex mirror as well as the fender.

I was in a loaner truck without a fender mirror for a while. Driving Chicago city streets I really missed it.

Everything you can see with your fender mirror can be seen in the mirrors I have indicated with no problems but you have to turn your head slightly to use them. So back to the OPS question are fender mirrors pointless well they are rather if you consider all the other mirrors on your truck.

 

I know how to, am capable of and do turn my head.

Keep your high horse. I will keep my fender mirror.
