Are steering knobs illegal?

Yes they are illegal. When you took your roadtest did you have 2 hands on the steering wheel?
They are for off road use, mainly used on heavy equipment such as loaders, forklifts, skidders due to having to use hydraulic implaments at the same time. Mostly after market items.
Don't know the specific rule but do you want to risk a ticket for improper care and control or worse?
