    god luck finding one.. very rare! they were so ugly nobody wanted to buy one. They did get 10mpg even with a mechanical motor though

    That was the first year for that style. It was a foot taller than the rest of the cabovers out there. I used to hear comments like "look at that two story Petercar". That was the first year they used a one piece windshield. It leaked constantly in the rain, That was the only bad thing I could say about that truck. It rode like a conventional, 400 Cummins, 13 over, 370 gears. I could almost keep up with a Monfort truck.

    ALLRIGHT NOW!!!

    no theye wern't attractive. Most people called them football helmets. they were exceptionally efficient though. I'd buy one if I found a nice one to to have one for a conversation piece. they had a flat floor and were laid out real nice inside

    we almost bought one back in the 80'S. Pete in waukesha had one come back and were really pushing to sell it to us. It was a nice truck but as a young boy I remember my first impression was there was no way I could get WAY up there!!
