Used to yard dog their trailers, among other companies', in Kentucky.
Seemed to be in pretty good shape. Put one or two empties on a door, warehouse would load them, then I'd pull them and put them on the line.
I'd say 9 times out of 10, their drivers would drop their empty, grab paperwork, hook the loaded trailer and go.
Occasionally, they'd do a live load.
Loads were heavy, but this was a regular gig for Arka. 4 to 6 loads a week.

    Lonesome Thanks this.

Home Depot in the South and Target and Home Depot in the North they do drop and hook, but it's not contract. I think most of their DC stuff is through CH Robison bids; I always got broker data when I ran DC stuff under them

They have fields of brand new tractors and trailers that aren't even being used; they are getting big money from somewhere and it's not the loads they run..... This company will soon be one of the top megas

They have terminals in South Atlanta GA and Chicago IL. It's Russian refugees and a lot of people from around the terminals who can't get jobs doing anything else...
