I wouldnt worry too much about it. According to the local news i watched a few hours ago, memphis to little rock wont be a problem at all. Conway to russelville might be different. They have had plenty of time to prepare though, but it IS arkansas.

A front moves southward through our state over the next 12-18 hours bringing some rain with it and introducing cooler air. A new storm system will track south of Arkansas Friday into Saturday. Rain will gradually transition to a mix of freezing rain or sleet early Saturday in northern Arkansas. As we head deeper into the day Saturday and into Saturday night, the high elevations of northern Arkansas should then have a transition to some accumulating snow. In central Arkansas, we will have rain through Friday and Saturday, but Saturday night we could have a transition to a winter mix and then some light snow as the system exits by early Sunday. This storm system will be a heavy rainmaker for southern Arkansas. A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for Northwest and North Central Arkansas for Saturday into early Sunday morning. At this time, it appears some significant accumulation will be likely across some areas of northern Arkansas impacting travel. We'll continue to follow it for you. Rain next 4 days.
Along 40, where you are going 1 inch.
Ice is a possibility on 40. Expect it.
Weather changes every 6 hours as LZK (Google it it will come up with the Little Rock Office that is 24/7 and updates hourly and sometimes in real time during tornadoes here)
We expect one inch in Searcy. But mountain home 8 inches fayetteville 4. Icing is a possibility in this state north of 40. Let's say a certainty.
Expect more winter weather extending eastward from Armarillo tonight, to OKC to Joplin to Ohio valley and then slam into Asheville Roanoke with two feet plus and icing by sunday (81, do not go that way or get it done by morning)
You have been briefed. Good luck.Dave_in_AZ, Muddydog79 and bzinger Thank this. -
Let's say that 540 is a life saver.
There is a two lane crooked parallel east of there north and south running.
If you have not seen crooked, try that one on for size. The east coast would actually put restrictions on that route believe it or not if it was them. -
Copy and paste, but thanks for the inside information
