If I'm reading the OP's post correctly, I think there's something that you're all missing, and that word is "warrant: burglary". If the OP has an outstanding felony warrant, that will change the dynamics entirely. Mongrel77,, is this an outstanding warrant you have? (Just trying to be clear on your current status).
I don't know what outstanding warrant means. They put an arrest warrant out for questioning in a burglary. I turned myself in . They questioned me and let me go. No court date, no filed on my name. Without getting into specific detail, I was let go with insufficient evidence.
Understood... but if a records check comes back saying "warrant", then there's a good chance that the actual warrant has not 'cleared' the system, and is still listed (wrongfully or rightfully) as an outstanding warrant. If that truly is the case, I suggest you get that warrant cleared in the system first, to eliminate any problems later. "Outstanding warrant" means a warrant that has not yet been cleared, and one where you are still subject to arrest. (ie. wanted)
Prime is the best out of the ones you listed...Henderson is now a logistics carrier for prime, pulling prime trls and freight
From my experience with James Clark and sons, they were very honest and up front...I tried to get on with them years ago but they actually said that they couldn't get me home as often and didn't want me to be unhappy...not too many Co's will call you back and say that...
I'm not an Angel and not a lawyer but I've been "Charged" with a couple Felonies and Misdemeanors through out my driving career and have at every court case had it dismissed or thrown out... Charged with anything in the USA is BS until found and convicted Guilty of that crime... How can a charge you weren't "convicted" of not be expunged from your record? It shouldn't be on your record due to the fact there is no conviction... Most companies will run your background right away before the orientation and if something come up a red flag will show on there screen and they will tell you to stay home. If you don't have the finds for a lawyer I would apply to one company and when and if they do call you explain the recruiter ( who almost at that point ) works for you explain your situation and see what they say and what comes of the background check they do on you... You will get a lot of responses on here from truck drivers who think they are lawyers or problem solvers but if you would like after doing what I have said give me a PM and I can try to help you a little more being I do have experience in this and certainly not happy ( Obviously ) but it is what it is... In the USA being Charged is never a Conviction. Never...
Thank you for your response. Yes it does not come up on my background check with my ss number but it will come up when they do fingerprinting( I guess as a "charge") Glad that I have a fellow who understands. The whole thing is a long story. I wasn't acutally guilty but long story short someone had it out for me and had a way of " getting me back" so to speak. Exs don't you love em. Well no evodence= not guilty . I'm just worried about the word " burglary" because it doesn't look good even though it was nothing like that.
Wil-Trans does the same for Prime & at least they use full sized trucks instead of lightweight trucks. I understand they use the same bunk house as Prime drivers going through orientation.
