I've heard some bad things about their trailers. That they all need maintenance and you will can be shut down for a while getting them fixed. Did you experience this with your trainer?

strawberryrhubarbpie Thanks this.

That's not the right attitude imo, company drivers need to make their miles also.

Thats the kind of guy he was everything was about him. From the radio to the temperature to his brakes to when we stopped to use the restroom and to how much brakes i should use etc.

That's too bad, I'm sorry to hear that. Sounds like he was just in it for the money (training). My husband and I were blessed, we got to train together, and he let us stop whenever we wanted as long as the load was on time.

TA went to TCH cards and not comdata anymore? Are they also using TCH checks?? Gotta tell ya, your trainer is a dunce!!!! I don't even know how many trailers I had to get fixed, just cause of that attitude. One of the reasons I am no longer with TA!!!!!!

Well tch card is slow at route 66 truck stops as they have to call in your purchase and i had to go back to my truck to get trip and trailer number. I know at ta loves and pilot etc you scan your card right at the pumps. My first ever trip and fueling was interesting. So yea im on my first trip going to oklahoma city hobby lobby then i get two days home time. I screwed up last night as i went to wal mart to get some things under personal conveyance but when i left walmart i forgot to go back onto pc so it went to drive status which was bad because that started my 14 hr clock, then as i went to bed i had myself in off duty instead of sleeper so after i woke up i had 8.5hrs of my 14 gone, i drove about 4 hours and am sitting just inside oklahoma 115 miles from delivery, but load doesnt deliver until 8 am. Btw a lil nervous as the one thing ive been dreading is tight area docks and based off google maps that place looks real tight -.-
strawberryrhubarbpie Thanks this. -
