Only the scum sucking bottom feeders who have untrained & unreliable driver's. I pull flatbed & haven't had a problem... Some shippers do notice a difference when it come to quality & reliability. They are also willing to pay more for that quality & reliability instead of paying a buck a mile and questioning if their load will get to the destination safely & on time!
Your sitting behind the wheel. You have no clue what is going on it that office. Sure, you may be seeing a lot of freight. But do you know if they are pulling it for $1.50 a mile or $0.84 per mile?
Your guess it as good as mine... As for TMC, I personally had then under bid me on a load out of Florida going to Washington state a few months back. TMC took it for $1.06 per mile.... The broker said I could have it if I matched their rate. I said they could have it, it wasn't worth the hassle to me.

This is not the time, nor the place for a pissing match. If you really want to see who can do the most writing in the snow, I'll prove that we females can.
In the meantime, we have drivers stranded, who need help, and the fact that Arrow was a company you disliked, for whatever reason, is TOTALLY IRRELEVANT to the situation at hand.Panhandle flash, doubledragon5, shriner75 and 2 others Thank this. -

Nice gesture considering the bulk of Freightliner production has been moved to Mexico with factory wages in the $2 to $5 per hour range after monetary conversion. A mexican auto worker union offical was recently quoted as saying he was proud Mexico has the lowest paid auto workers in the world, even lower than China.

My sympathies to all the drivers left to rot I wish you the best and a Merry Christmas.
To the owner(s) of Arrow, I hope you rot in jail for the treatment of and abandandment of hundreds of drivers two days before Christmas.
This is unexceptable treatment of drivers and customers when you full well knew this business was done months again. Evil shall perish when good men do the right thing to combat evil.BigSam Thanks this.
