Too many people have fouled up.....don't be mad at the government. Be mad at the drivers who were at fault because they drove tired or drove too fast and caused an accident.

i have been saying it for many months now, all the idjuts out there, and sooner or later, g'ment is going to do something big against the industry, and i couldn;t be any happier.

no one wants to police the industry and clean it up.>??

well, the anti-trucking groups and the feds surely will.......give it some time boys, y'alls gonna be in a huge world of hurt.

I’m not mad at the government, I’m mad at this so-called “safety coalition”.

    They’re dumber than a box of rocks!!:banghead:

They don’t have an inkling of a clue!!

I drive a 65 mph governed truck, and that’s bad enough that we have to deal with ***clowns who start road raging because our trucks can’t accelerate quick enough, pass someone going slower than we are, climbing grades under heavy loads, etc.and that’s when we’re in the right hand lane!!!
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been tailgated by both 4 wheelers and 18 wheelers alike in the right lane and said drivers don’t realize that my truck is governed and it can’t go any faster (we have the Pass Smart system that gives us 67 mph but it only works for so long). And they’re following for 5,maybe 10 miles when they have a perfectly good and clear passing lane(s). And when they do pass they give you a dirty look!!:angry5::angry4:
If not that they’ll try to brake check you or do some other stupid s***!

then the solution to all of that..??

mandatory governing of ALL trucks, including o/o trucks....no one shall be spared the indignity.

Go after the companies who continue to do this and when they switch names then go after and jail these owners who knowingly circumvent the laws and regs…

I agree with what your saying. Yeah it does punish responsible drivers. I can concede that. It only takes a small number of devastating crashes and that will prompt changes. You're right, the industry definitely needs cleaning up and slowly but surely, you'll see a whole different look to trucking.
