    Nope, disconnecting batteries didn't clear it. Going to call my local shop first thing and see if they can clear it while I get my own diagnostic stuff coming.

    Hey pal, oh I'm old enough, alright. My '72 Pete 359 had manual center point steering. I'll go you one better, remember air steering? I too have become accustomed to cushiness, but at the time, we didn't know any different. Today, it would be like going from a smart phone back to a rotary dial,,:eek:

    Yes I do remember "air assist" steering. 73' W9A. Updated to 335.......:) And you are 100% spot on, back then, we just didn't know any different.
    When the "350" Cummins hit the market, man'o man, coupled to a "...road ranger" transmission, and OMG if you had the cash to order "air ride"...........HOLY MOLY!!! you were sht'n in tall cotton.:D:eek: And don't get me started on wedge vs. S-cam.........:confused:
