Nope, disconnecting batteries didn't clear it. Going to call my local shop first thing and see if they can clear it while I get my own diagnostic stuff coming.

Yes I do remember "air assist" steering. 73' W9A. Updated to 335....... And you are 100% spot on, back then, we just didn't know any different.
When the "350" Cummins hit the market, man'o man, coupled to a "...road ranger" transmission, and OMG if you had the cash to order "air ride"...........HOLY MOLY!!! you were sht'n in tall cotton. And don't get me started on wedge vs. S-cam.........
