I would go with Freymiller, only because I'm all about the reefer life. I wouldn't blame anyone if they went with Ashley though. The reefer life isn't that bad. You get to these grocery warehouses and you deliver on your 10 hr break. Some places you'll be there so long, you'll get plenty of sleep but it's good steady money though.

Reefer ain’t bad. Like others said some places can deliver and take a 10 at same time. Others you can’t. I don’t mind it, seems to stay steady. When I don’t have a cold load I wake up and don’t hear the reefer I’m like oh ####. Then remember non cold load. Pay isn’t bad.

I was leaning 90% towards Freymiller but some current drivers posting they’re not getting the miles

Well....in my experience, if a driver says he or she isn't getting any miles, there's always a story behind it. The question is whether they are dependent on broker loads as opposed to having their own freight. If that's the case it will be up and down for a driver. I find it hard to believe that a company as large as Freymiller doesn't have their own customers. If a driver isn't getting miles, in my experience, the driver is the problem. In trucking, you control your destiny. If you show dispatch that you're willing to run anywhere, deliver on time, you'll get taken care of. I've never worked anywhere in terms if reputable companies, and had trouble getting miles. Reliability + availability = longevity and goof paychecks.

Private fleet, reefer....private fleet, reefer....private fleet, reefer!!!

Less filling, tastes great.....less filling, tastes great.....less filling, tastes great!!!......

Solution: if you prefer more normal, set sleep times -- pick Ashley.

If you like/thrive on odd sleep schedules, and waiting for loooooooooooooonng periods of time for someone else to (finally) do their job, and you really enjoy the idea of driving mostly at night -- then pick Frey Miller.

Just know -- if you do pick FM -- you certainly won't "stay above the fray"........:p :D

If you pick FM -- BE SURE to bone up thoroughly on the "split sleeper" DOT clock technique.

    YOU'LL NEED IT. o_O

    You’re possibly 100% right
Cause honestly as some drivers complained about no miles there were others saying plenty of miles.
So I guess you’re right brother.
I just don’t wanna do another mistake a join the wrong company I hate to be that guy who keeps jumping from company to another

That is my experience too, but mostly the story is I run with them on a trip going to the same place and I see HOW they are running. Over sleeping, missing appointments, etc. Of course they are going to get less and less.

I understand totally. I try to stay at the same company as much as possible myself. The reality, is just about all companies are the same. If you take care of your own business, the business will take of you. Trucking is all about getting in position. The guy that's in the right position will succeed every time.
